Headquartered in Tokyo, Japan our current CEO and founder, Dr. Nobuo Kamata has been a technology-oriented leader and pioneer for over 30 years.
Early in 2015 we introduced the world’s first H.265 mobile hardware encoder providing extremely low-latency and stable video and audio transmission, even over fluctuating mobile networks from remote locations in the world.

In 1979 the CEO Nobuo Kamata, PhD., founded the basis of Soliton Systems. His ambition was to reduce complexity in innovative technologies. In 1995 Soliton Systems entered the network security market and developed its first LAN encrypted products. Through a strong investment in innovation, we continue to set new standards in performance, quality and reliability for our customers.

Establishment, family owned
Intel requests Soliton to develop middleware between PC OS and the Intel App.
Started cooperation with Bridge Communications Corporation in the United States (later 3Com). It is also the year of introducing our first LAN solutions.
Business tie-up with Silicon Compiler Systems, Inc. in the United States, introduction of semiconductor CAD design.
Soliton IT Security Solutions division established.
Opens office in Shanghai, China.
Introduction of NetAttest wireless LAN authentication server.
Introduction of the first edition of InfoTrace log collecting and tracking system.
Listed at the JASDAQ Stock Exchange.
Introduction of the video transmission system Smart-telecaster (STC).
Introduction of file transfer appliances HiQZen and FileZen.
Soliton becomes reseller of Excitor’s DME mobile security solution.
